Owaves, a San Diego-based health and wellness app helps people to improve their productivity and well-being using the science of chronotypes, a fascinating field of study into our unique biological rhythms and how they affect our daily lives.
Challenge
Owaves had a brilliant idea – to develop a custom quiz that educates users about their chronotype and encourages them to share their results with friends and family, ultimately leading to viral user acquisition. They wanted to use the opportunity to develop their website and make the quiz a key part of the new experience.
Our goals for the project were:
Engagement: Create an interactive, enjoyable, and informative quiz that users would want to complete.
Shareability: Encourage users to share their quiz results on social media platforms, generating organic growth.

Solution
We used the MEQ as the basis to develop an engaging experience that walked users through a series of questions to determine their chronotype. The quiz was designed to be quick, fun, and insightful, providing users with valuable information about themselves.
Shareability Upon completing the quiz, users are presented with the option to share their chronotype results on various social media platforms. This feature acted as the catalyst for viral growth.
Education The quiz provided a summary of your result and provided a link directly to setup your profile in the app via Apples App links.
Engagement To keep users engaged, we included eye-catching visuals, concise questions, and immediate feedback.
